Reading the website

The website serves articles and images from its own hosting. Our website code does not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts, account registration or a newsletter form. Hosting infrastructure processes connection information such as IP addresses, requested URLs and browser details to deliver and protect the service. Retention of infrastructure logs is controlled by the hosting provider.

Choosing a language

Where the server or edge deployment provides trusted IP-derived country information, an unprefixed visit is directed to German for Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland, and to English for other or unknown locations. Country is an approximate guide, not a determination of a person's language. Explicit German or English links keep their language.

Using the language links saves a cookie named teearten_language for up to one year. It contains only en or de and takes priority on subsequent neutral visits. You can remove it through your browser settings. On a plain static host without the accompanying server integration, automatic country selection is unavailable and English is the fallback.

Search and email

Article search and category filters run in your browser. A search submitted from the homepage places the query in the URL, which can appear in browser history and normal hosting logs. There is no search account or separate search service.

If you email contact@teearten.com, your address, message and attachments are processed through email services so the enquiry can be handled. Keep messages limited to what is necessary. To ask about access, correction or removal of information you sent, contact the same address; applicable obligations and legitimate recordkeeping needs may affect what can be removed.

Other websites and changes

Source links lead to independently operated websites with their own privacy practices. They receive a connection when you follow them; we do not embed their tracking widgets. The website's preview hosting may have a separate sign-in layer governed by that platform's terms.
